Why wet testing your spa is important
As we know, a spa can be a big investment. You’ve done your research, looked on every website possible and likely to have whittled it down to a choice of spas – but how do you choose the right one for you & how will you know that this is the right one for you?
Buying a spa is like buying a car – would you buy a car without trying it first?
How do I set this up?
You have chosen the spa you would like to try. The next step would be to contact us to arrange a wet test of your chosen spa. Alternatively, you could book your wet test here.
Make sure you choose a day where you have plenty of time to spare so you aren’t rushing on the day.
What should I expect during a wet test?
We will shut our showroom and we will leave for half an hour, for you to use the spa on your own. Firstly, we will show you how to use the spa so you can make full use of all features of the spa during your time trying it. We will then leave you in the spa for half an hour. It is important that you make the most of your time in the spa!
What to take note of…
This all depends on what it is that you are looking for in a spa. It is important that you feel happy, comfortable and ensure that you get the most out of your testing experience. Some of the main elements of the spa to take note of include;
Jets – make sure you are happy with the placement of the jets within the spa and that you know how many jets there are. If the spa has different jet speeds, be sure to try these too.
Features – make sure you look at any of the extra features, such as wiFi modules.
Seating – test all of the seats in your spa! Whether it be lounger seats, moulded seats or bench seating, make sure that you try all of the seats – unless of course, you have your dedicated seat!
How you feel in there – how did you feel whilst you were in the spa? Did it bother you that you didn’t have your phone with you? Did you find that you spoke more to one another?
After effects – it is important to monitor the next 24 hours and how you feel after using the spa. Did you feel more relaxed? How was your sleep that night? Spas have great health benefits and testing the spa is where you can see this for yourself – read our health benefits blog here!
What will happen after I have tested the spa?
After you have tested the spa, this is your opportunity to ask any further questions you may have. We will also go through all of your options including pricing, any extras available and to discuss the spa in more detail.
